I have no idea about where to get models for UT. Sorry.

UT models haven't been released to the public. They may not be for quite awhile either, as it took a long time to get the models for Unreal after it came out.

There is a site (forgot the name) where there is a tutorial on modeling for UT based on the model pics on Shane's page though. Try looking at www.planetquake.com/polycount (http://www.planetquake.com/polycount) under Unreal Tutorials.
