Looking for a few tweaks

I am an slightly above average player trying to get to the next level....I heard that there are around a few downloadable tweaks that can improve game performances.....for the mouse or whatever else......anyone can help me with this? I play Ig and have a fast connection, so don't need any modems tweaks.
