Timing items

I was trying to time shieldbelt which is 55 secs atleast on 100 speed servers. On faster paced servers do the items(armor keg etc) spawn quicker?

yes they do. It all depends on the game speed which controls the time seconds.

If you want a real time seconds the closest value is about 91% game speed. 100% game speed is not really the real time seconds.

Gamespeed and style (Classic, Hardcore, Turbo) make a difference. Classic 100% gamespeed is real-time. Hardcore/Turbo 100% gamespeed are actually 10% faster than real-time.
Item respawn times are quite "even" numbers in game seconds: health packs 20 seconds, health vials, armor, pads, boots, regular weapons and ammo 30 seconds (volatile ammo 15 seconds), redeemer and shieldbelt 60 seconds, big keg 100 seconds, amp 120 seconds.
Divide the respawn time by the gamespeed and again by 1.1 on Hardcore/Turbo mode.

oh ya, I keep forgetting about the Classic Mode that it is real time seconds and it doesn't multiply the damage by 1.5. Now we know and thanks for reminding us.
