UE2 - UT2kX Karma and UV issues

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Hey guys, we are having a hell of a load of problems with Static Mesh at the moment. Upon importing the editor keeps bitching about Karma.

These are the export settings from Max 2009.

Here is a shot of the collision model in Max and then in the editor itself.

Loads of extra faces are appearing.

Karma primitives look even more wierd!

Same story here.

The way I understand it, if you import a model with a collision mesh using the MCDCX tag then Karma is irrelevant, but you can sink through the mesh in places as if it has no collision at all! Any help is appreciated. :)

Found out need to use box primitives rather than complex collision with no touching parts. Seems to have solved the issue. :)
