How to cap fps offline? UT2004

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I'm having a lot of trouble with scaling maps as I have 1000+ fps at the start, the game goes like 1.5x the normal speed :/ anyone that knows about this?

You can always try v-sync if it's offline and you're not too worried with the input lag. I don't think there's another way to do this in UT2004 since there isn't any "framerate smoothing" option :[

If you're using a monitor with a high refresh rate (CRT or 120Hz LCD), there shouldn't be any significant input lag. If you're stuck with a 60Hz LCD, you're out of luck.

yeah, i got a 60hz monitor ... link me to a 120hz LCD monitor that's not a TV? havent seen one of those yet :)
