This may seem a silly question to those in the know but...How do you convert jpg's to utx format? Thanxs.

You have to convert your .jpgs to .pcx files, paintshop pro is a handy program for this. Then place your textures in your unreal\system directory and use the import button at the bottom of the texture browser. Your textures must be sized to 16*16, 32*32, 64*64, 128*128, etc etc other wisse the textures won't load. I believe you can go up to a max of 512*512. When you import you textures be sure to create your own .utx file so that you have no problems when you wish to distribute your map. There is a good tutorial at www.unrealed.com (http://www.unrealed.com) on making and importing custom textures.
