K Ive seen conflicting opinions on this as time went by so now the editor has been out a while I thought Id get the opinion off you guys again... Which is the better practice.. to continue mapping as I did in UT2k4.. that is flesh out the barebones of the geometry in BSP and then just use meshes for deco etc... or make the majority of the level from static meshes?
The main reason I ask is when UT3 was first released the general consensus was BSP=Bad Static Mesh=Good... however it now seems that if you want an uber optimized map go for using as much BSP as possible and hardly any meshes. I stand corrected if Im wrong... as I say Im not writing from experience just what Ive read.
Im about to re-work one of my "almost finished" 2k4 maps for UT3 and wondered what the best construction method would be before I start.
