Encoding and Uploading a 10 Min Demo-Video Roll of the Map To X-fire on my profile as we speak. Notified you via Epic as well.

Demo Reel of Map (http://www.xfire.com/video/2de7d/)

I can suggest realPlayer for downloading purposes.

Thanks for promoting the map!

I noticed you didn't use any trick-jumps in the video. The map was made with advanced newcomers in mind who want to employ trickjumps and benefit from, say, a walldodge not only as a combat tactic but also as a means to get through shortcuts but aren't necessarily skilled enough to pull them off perfectly each time. That's why there are quite a few opportunities for special jumps in the map but neither is very hard to pull off. Just hard enough so simple jumps won't help. :)

I'll explain a few of them:

You can dodge up the wooden planks. Just stand in front of them and instead of trying to double-jump up on them just dodge towards them. I made them easy so newcomers can use them as well. Shield-Gun jumping or advanced timing necessary. Just stand right in front of them and press double-forward. This even works for the plank that ends on the nail and has a gap after it. Just press double-forward and hold forward. It should throw you over the plank up to where you want to go.

From the bridge with the flag on it you can jump towards the doors leading out of the room. A simple double-jump won't do. You either need to do a dodge-jump or use the wall. I painted a big foot everywhere on the walls where walldodges can help you get across. Double-jump along the wall and then dodge away from the wall near the foot. Alternatively you can single-jump towards the wall, and dodge-jump away from it but I think it's harder for newcomers so the distance is easily doable with the simpler double-jump to wall + dodge from the wall.
Bots can use these ways on higher difficulties too although they won't do it as elegantly. They'll shield-jump over the gap.

It's exactly the same in the room with the huge broken out piece of wall with the mini cave behind it. If you are coming from the center area you can jump to the white spiderweb-thingy on the rock that stands out by doing exactly the same as I explained above for the gap in the flag-room. The spiderweb will then automatically throw you up to the balcony thingy with the RocketLauncher on it.

The pieces of wall that are hanging from the ceiling on chains can be used for walldodges as well. That way you can collect the health-vials on one side of the flag-room exit and then jump to the piece of wall, walldodge away from it and land on the other side and collect the vials there too.
The way out of the base through the room with the water puddle can be done with a simple double-jump but it's funner with a walldodge from the wall-piece. They will swing if you do that too. :)

The hole behind the flag throws you out of a hole in front of the flag-room. You can get even more out of this route by singlejumping into the hole and when you get out (direction should fit automatically if you jumped in the hole looking forward) wait until you are at the peak and then press jump again for your double-jump to get onto the hanging bridge. You can just mash the jump button on your way up and that'll do too in most cases.

Some details you might or might not have noticed:
Note the cute spiders on the floor in some of the rooms!
In the central area there is a bit of water in the river-bed but every once in a while some more water will flow through.

Thank you for your time and for making a video of my map!
I'll post this at the epic boards as well because the gameplay tips might help folks over there as well.

I re-uploaded the file to rapidshare and transferred it to a free collector's account. I was informed that uploads can only be downloaded ten times if they aren't in either a collector's account (which is free to create but doesn't give you any benefits as far as I know) or a premium account (which costs money but also lets you download faster). So yeah, if you have your maps on rapidshare without them being tied to an account you might want to update your mirrors too.

Got around to playing this one and was pleasantly surprised. Looks very detailed and there is a lot you can do with this one. You have to really play it with no bots first to check out all the stuff. This is a rather huge CTF map, so anyone trying it be prepared. The music track chosen was good, but I would think something a little more eclectic would suit the map better. Yikes, you have to go down the rabbit hole just right to pop out correctly on the other side.;)

d/ling now...
EDIT - good stuff - although framerates do drop into the low 30s in some spots (and I have a 9500GT card).
