Hi,
I asked this question in another forum before, but I didn't get a satisfying answer. Is there a noticable difference in performance if I place a whole bunch of small emitters instead of placing one big emitter?

Just as an example so you know the proportions:
100 individual emitters with max 10 sprites each or 2 emitters with max. 500 sprites each?

I guess the only difference is that the individual ones are easier to zone off or to dynamically disable during the game but I want to be sure.
