This is a remake of VCTF-Retro from UT2004. It's a large and complex level that could use some work still. The main idea is to have buildings for infantry and tunnels/road for the vehicles. You have 3 vehicles paths to get to the enemy base, and a wide variety of paths to run away with the flag on your hoverboard.

All feedback is welcome, though, keep in mind that I am aware for the AI being dumb, so unless you have ideas to fix them, I'd appreciate if the feedback could be focused on actual gameplay suggestions or issues, the level was intended to be build for online gameplay since the AI isn't going to be a challenge in that kind of layouts. But it does have bot support.

By the way, the loud sound you hear every 200 seconds is a space ship flying by, you can see it over the blue base, just look in the sky - you won't miss it.

I certainly hope the map is not that white when it's finished.

Aside from the bright glare, I enjoyed the map. My only real critique on gameplay is that I found the flag room to not be that obvious to find. Some indicators (arrows, a sign that says "FLAG ROOM", extra saturated red/blue, etc.) would greatly help. I really like the multiple paths set-up.

It burns my eyes, and seems very very bland in certain areas (roofs comes to mind) :(

Although I got an on-screen message saying that the lighting needs to be rebuilt, so my guess is that I'm seeing the map without all the lighting effect hence much brighter than it should be.

I just checked and the lightning is build, and yes, there's a message showing "Lightning needs to be rebuild" I have no clue why it's still there.

I'm guessing that your brightness settings are higher than the default, resulting white being flashy on your screen. Can you post a screenshot of the roofs from your end?

Yeah, the game is so dark, that it just doesn't match... Oh well.
I suppose I should make it darker?

Nah, just maybe give more love to the roofs IMO, a big white field of ...white is rather bland :)

But aside from that I like the map. A lot.

On the pictures,your map looks good,nice theme and design,but I get kinda a cold feeling by your map,dunno why,but that doesn't really matter.Anyway,I make a note of your map and when I got my new system,I'm gonna test it by myself.:)

in my opinion it looks good and you can see the diff between bases good enuff. just the first shot in the tunnel..yeah alittle 2 shiny. other then that its all good.

Fun map, some of the space is unnecesary and can simply lead to undesirable wondering, however some open space is very pleasant for vehicles. I played the map soley for the purpose of road kill, man I love the manta. Over all, not my favorite map layout, but good placement for what is there.

I would also like to second the motion that flag location needs to be more apparent. :)
