If you're old, like me, then you might have played the orginal Unreal online :)

One of my favourite maps from that time was CliffyB's DM-Loxi. I'd always wanted to see a remake but alas noone seems to have done so.
I was looking for something that might help me get back into mapping as Jailbreak has gotten very quiet of late so I'd thought I'd have a try at a Loxi conversion to help me get up to speed in the new editor.

I've basically taken the original Loxi BSP and have ported it straight across to UT3 and added meshes. Nothing fancy, nothing clever, all standard meshes. I also haven't scaled the map up to UT3 sizes so it's a lot more cramped than the original. Like I said, this was just a learning exercise.

Having said that, it's a fun little duel map or up to 5 players max.

it looks good from the shots, do you have any of the orginal Unreal level?
