In a shocking twist today, Take-Two revealed that the award winning and amazingly popular BioShock was going to the be the subject of a sequel tentatively titled - BioShock 2. Interestingly, Ken Levine will indeed play a role in shaping the new game and it will be developed at 2k Marin. That studio, you'll recall, is located in Novato, California and consists of a few ex-BioShock staff.
Take-Two also revealed that Borderland, the UE3 4-player co-op sci-fi FPS being developed by Gearbox, has been delayed. Originally scheduled for a mid-late '08 release, the game is now in the FY '09 lineup, meaning that it could possibly hit shelves at the tail-end of this year or on into 2009.
