Broken Cell Phone

So I recently smash the LCD screen some how on my cell phone. I'm looking on ebay for a replacement and found a similar phone that someone dropped in a puddle. It apparently doesn't work.


My question is, what are the chances the the LCD on this recently puddle-dropped phone survived?

prolly good. I dropped one of my cell phones into the washer and it was in there for a while. I was able to take it all apart and leave it dry on a light bulb overnight. In the morning I put it together and it worked again just fine. Another phone I cracked the screen on and lucky for me I had insurance on it, paid a $25 deductable and got a new phone. :tup:

LCD displays generally won't die from being soaked in water, so the chances are pretty good. Nearly the only way an LCD can die is if it's cracked.

Just take the (puddle) phone apart and soak it in distilled water for a while.
