I'm missing thread like this. There was something for UT2004 - but new editor sure has its twitches as well. I currently found one sure way how to crash the editor - although I would never find it unless I wanted to check various keybinds. :-)

* In perspective view turn on real-time preview and then Shift+S to select all faces. For me it goes down every time.

I hope this editor is more stable (so far I'm satisfied) but it has more things like this and some of them might be usefull to know in order to avoid them.

Bring "cross package" chaos by renaming other meshes into an empty package to use them inside a new level, then get a whole lot of dumb issues, like problems saving your map, working on it, crashing randomly ETC ETC ETC.

Yeah, that was that thread for previous UnrealEd! :-)))

I've found that real-time preview generally causes UnrealEd to be more unstable - it's not exactly expected but understandable.

I have noticed that I only crash in lit mode if I add a light and don't re-build the lighting.

Create a sphere with "SphereExtrapolation" set to 4 or 5 or more and try to delete half or more vertices :)

Patching the game from 1.0 crashes the editor on load.. every time... (I haven't tried 1.2, I'm not sure if it's worth my time to try:\)
