Hello Guys

Ok this has now been updated. This is the first map i have ever made and is basically a test to see if i can get anything playable and fun!

The map is set in an old abandoned warehouse now overgrown and crumbling. It is a small map and i wouldn't reccomend more than 6 players unless you love absolutely frantic matches. I worked hard on this map to make it look good and i think i succeeded. The gameplay is also quite good if you like fast tight matches.

This looks good for a first map.. good on you!!! BUT, if i can cretique this based on the images, use a mech or a texture to seperate the pickup from the ground, it doesnt look great just slaping it against the ground. the inside rooms look great but try to light these red and blue so the player knows what base they are in.

Also try not to use BSP to make the celling, use supports and make the celling texture less noticable this way.

Looks good. Nice theme, the atmosphere seems nice, but judging by the screenshots, it seems real small. Also, is there really a need to have LTC in the name? The name of a map is just as important as the gameplay and visuals (least in my opinion).

ok for a first map, but a pretty short distance from one end to the other. less than 10 second run. :)

It is only meant as a small refresher game to play in between some larger scale maps. It is also only my first map. I guess i will change the freindly name if you want as i understand it may be annyoing !lol

What would i use instead of bsp if i wanted to make the ceiling? I will add a little elevation to the weapon placements as it seems like a good idea.

Just remember this is basically a test case map to see if i can get anything remotely playable and fun! The next map im making DM-NightAtWork is a good deal bigger than this.

Ok this has been updated with the changes you mentioned!

Added staticmeshes to the ceiling
Added coulered lighting to rooms so you know which base your in
added platforms for weapons
changed sky to darker moodier one
thickened heightfog

I have not posted new pics as there is not much new to notice but overall the changes improve the feel of the map! Enjoy
