Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.
I made some static meshes out of brushes in the editor, (bad, I know) and vehicles just pass through them if you are moving too fast. as far as i can tell, collision is set to normal, so im not sure what i need to do. anyone know?
yes, well, i thought about that, and of course it would work, but i thought maybe there was something else. and i know converting meshes to brushes is not a good idea because of bsp holes and all of that, but i don't have a copy of maya that can export static meshes, so i don't have much of a choice.
anyway, thanks for the suggestion.
Not only will it work but it's more efficient and less prone to getting players stuck. Volumes use brush collision while meshes use something more complex, either per polygon or per vertex or something similar.
