Hi, I am newbie 2 Unreal. I am lost. Please help me. I want 2 learned 2 map 4 USkaarj, but don't no where 2 start at lol :lol: :lol: :lol: Plz help thx :lol:

Findings in 15min game, will report more:

* Can we get a wider zoom? Maybe a bit more in both in and out zoom. Also noticed that when I use the WASD keys to move, my screen would (I guess) zoom out really quickly, then when I stoped, it zoomed back in. Kinda freaked me out. Not to bad, but it kind of annoys me :/

* Under Settings in the menu - Portraits of characters are all messed up. They are upside down. Same with the guns. On a note of weapons, could you increase the view size of them. They look really small. If not, no big deal.

* The fire/boost/afterburner from those little builder bot flying things are buggy. Sometimes they just randomly appear pointing which ever direction. Othertimes, they were really long, but only for a few seconds until they went away. And othertimes, they just didn't show until after the Builderbot guys stopped for a few seconds.

* It would be nice to have some pop-up dialog boxes appear over the icons in the bottom area. I couldn't figure out how to build anything until I just randomly started to press the buttons and click on the ground.

* Upgrades?

* Barracks had no progress bar when it was being built.

* Would it be possible to get a "meet here" point for when you build things? IE: Set a flag somewhere, when the building is done making a person/vehicle, they go directly to that area.

* The builder guys that fly get stuck on buildings. I tried to get the second builder guy to go help out, but he was stuck on a building. Couldnt get him out :(

* When you double click on the mini-map, it takes you to that location, but it seems that it makes the camera extremely close to the ground. I couldn't zoom out, but instead could only zoom in. Sometimes putting me through the ground. I say it's close to the ground, like it would be if you were zoomed all the way in. But your stuck there.

* The tanks move really funny. Sometimes, they move sideways to get the desired position. Buggy, but I can't help but laugh thou.

Not much as far as gameplay goes. I'll get to that in a bit. Gotta mow the yard now. Looking really good guys. Very nice work. I do understand this is still a beta, so don't anyone come knocking on my door saying I need to relax.

So first off let me say thanks for the feedback because this is the kind of stuff I am looking for when we move forward is this type of information keep it coming. I will address each of these issues in a sep text color  so you know what my feelings/response is in regards to them.

* Can we get a wider zoom? Maybe a bit more in both in and out zoom. Also noticed that when I use the WASD keys to move, my screen would (I guess) zoom out really quickly, then when I stopped, it zoomed back in. Kinda freaked me out. Not to bad, but it kind of annoys me :/

I agree 100% on this issue that the zoom needs to be changed and I have already stated that it will be fixed and changed in the patch release. I think the zoom needs to be able to go back further and wider and no more of that zoom in stuff.

* Under Settings in the menu - Portraits of characters are all messed up. They are upside down. Same with the guns. On a note of weapons, could you increase the view size of them. They look really small. If not, no big deal.

As far as these menus go I do not know if they are going to stick around really in there current form because we are going to do a huge overhaul on the UI in the next major release.

* The fire/boost/afterburner from those little builder bot flying things are buggy. Sometimes they just randomly appear pointing which ever direction. Other times, they were really long, but only for a few seconds until they went away. And other times, they just didn't show until after the Builderbot guys stopped for a few seconds.

There are a good amount of tweaks that needs to be done with the models and such and we are going to work on cleaning them all up in the next major release. It does not seem logical for use to dedicate a bunch of time for this for the patch release

* It would be nice to have some pop-up dialog boxes appear over the icons in the bottom area. I couldn't figure out how to build anything until I just randomly started to press the buttons and click on the ground.

I am working on getting tooltips for the buttons to show more info like how much the unit costs etc… that way you get the info needed when needed. This will be in the patch release.

* Upgrades?

Will start to be added in the next major release atleast that’s my goal.

* Barracks had no progress bar when it was being built.

Will be fixed in patch release

* Would it be possible to get a "meet here" point for when you build things? IE: Set a flag somewhere, when the building is done making a person/vehicle, they go directly to that area.

This will also be added in the next major release.

* The builder guys that fly get stuck on buildings. I tried to get the second builder guy to go help out, but he was stuck on a building. Couldn’t get him out

This will be a work in progress the current pathing system is good but not good enough and we are looking at how we can fix this to make it so stuff does not get stuck.

This will come with a total re-write of the mini-map in that it will reflect information correctly and it will also be more informational. I will try to have a temp fix for the zoom issue in the patch release but the full re-write will come in the next major release.

* The tanks move really funny. Sometimes, they move sideways to get the desired position. Buggy, but I can't help but laugh thou.

As stated above we are looking to clean up all the models and such.
