OMG this is annoying. My map is called DM-Forerunner, and i entered "Forerunner" into the map title as shown here:
alright, that should mean that it says Forerunner when saved and selected in unreal's map browser. Instead, i get it's crappy beta name, Wall3, the same as the old title was
How else should i get the title there to change? Have fun yelling at me!

To fix it you have to go into the UT2004/System folder and look for the .ucl file generated for your map (DM-Forerunner.ucl ?), delete it and restart UT. If that doesn't work move the map to a different folder and delete the ucl file, start UT and look in the map list, quit, then move the map back and start the game again.
