R is also not a word, it's a letter, 'are' is however a useful addition to any sentence.

Tool is still around, as he posted a couple of times in the last week or so. He's probably busy in RL or is otherwise wary from his previous bout in universal ignore.

As for Beeb, the admins finally got sick of his attitude and gave him the boot. He was great for the longest time, but over the past year or so he became caustic without really contributing much else to the forum. Or at least that's how I see it.
