HELP ! UT has gone whacky

You have the MegaPack? It looks like you're missing the OnslaughtBP package. That's where you'll find it.

have you tried deleting the ut2004.ini and user.ini in ut2004\system folder?

that will create new fresh ini files, in case yours where messed up :doh:

happens sometimes when ut2004 wasn't shut down properly, try that first

1. Uninstall UT2004 completely
2. Reinstall
3. Intall ECE, Community bonus packs 1 & 2 (if you want the extras)
4. Patch to 3369(think thats the correct version I know its a couple 3's and ends with 69)
5. Install the latest patch (or the mega pack)

For some reason I have to manually type in my UT2004 Folder when installing the megapack / latest patch (something is broke in the installer). Ive also heard that installing 3369 after the megapack or latest patch fixes something but Ive not had to do it personally.

i think your problem is that you reinstalled ut2004 the first time without deleting the complete ut2004 folder witch kept alot of ucl/int/u files in your ut2004\system folder of the of mutators mods and maps from the previous installation. that explains the warnings in your first log file concerning the maps you never installed after reinstallation.

if you haven't begin the uninstallation yet, a simple solution is to rename your ut2004\system folder to ut2004\systemS (for backup reasons)

then insert your first cd of ut2004 close the autorun if it autoruns.
open 'my computer' right click on the cd icon in which the cd is inserted click on explore.

you'll see the retail 'system' folder there; copy this one and place it in your ut2004 folder. that should solve the problem and spare you a complete reinstall.

if even this would'nt help then a complete reinstall is the only solution.
be sure though to always delete the ut2004 folder after uninstallation.

for the patches just use google to search for download locations or use beyondunreal's fileworks to easily search for it.
patch 3369 is the latest yes.
