View Full Version : Static Meshes + lighting Problems

I have a huge level using terrain and static meshes. Problem is, the static meshe's don't light properly, any ideas? The pic shows an example of what I mean.

It's probably because your Terrain resolution is high. Actualy, it's very normal and there's nothing to worry about.
Don't change the terrain resolution though. Keep it as it is, if you REALLY want to have a good shadow result create a shadow in photoshop of the rock shape and make a projector. The link that space provided teach a bit how lighting work with vertex lightning.
