sooo, i've finally decided to play around with unrealed 2 a bit just for fun - but it wasn't fun at all :(

here's my problem: whenever i try to shape/resize a brush using vertex editing or try to move a brush only a few units ued doesn't react at all until all of a sudden the brush (or vertex) jumps like 5 times the units i wanted to move it so it's a real 'uncomfortable feeling in the butt' to get a brush into the right position or shape :(

i've already reinstalled ut, changed graphics settings and stuff but nothing seemed to work. and since movement speed of my mouse is ok in ued2 i don't think that's what causes this problem.
hopefully one of you guys knows how to solve this?!

UED 2.0 have a lot of issues and it feel completely Un-usable for me personaly. I have the same problem as you do, and this problem is VERY anoying, especialy with movers and all other brushes that you create.

Can't you set your grid size down to 1?

Can't you set your grid size down to 1?

sure i can do that but it won't do any good cause it's the exact same thing for every grid spacing...

@kantham: well, at least there's someone who has the same problem
i would like making a ut99 map if i didn't have this problem :(

I've been mapping a little with UED2.0 today and i know your problem. another problem is that UED 2.0 lack the X,Y,Z bar on the bottom right (i know it's not a problem since it was new to UED 3.0). Also, my verticle are hard to move on the grid it's very in-acurate. Like you mentioned in your first post.

I'd like someone to answer this aswell.

Is vertex snap on? I've seen it cause problems in UnrealEd 2.0 sometimes. (It's the button to the left of grid snap at the bottom of the screen)

Don't see much of a difference when i turn it on/off.

vertex snap off didn't do it :(
i'm kinda getting used to this after working with ued2 for a couple of hours though...
but i'm still hoping for someone who knows how to solve this ;)
