Llama Farm Material?

OK, there were quite a few witnesses to this(RedBeard, LK, Zaccix, Blow***** to name a few). PlasticIdol, leader of clan {GoD}, was in #planetunreal, when he started to preach the benefits of LSD. I didn't get a log, but it went a lot like this:

PI: "everyone should try LSD at least once in their life"
<repeat 3 times>
Me: "ROFLMAO!"
PI: "im serious"
<repeat 3 times>
Me: "LMAO!"
PI: "it opens your mind"
Me: "STOP STOP STOP I am going to die from laughter"

Well, that wouldn't be AS bad if he didn't spam.

Then he goes on to say more dumb things, like "i wouldnt mind losing part of my brain as long as i live" and "there are no risk in cutting arms off"(exact quote, in response to a remark I made), of course all while spamming.

I don't want this to turn into a flame war, but PI has only posted twice, so I don't think he really comes here anymore. I ALSO don't want to turn this into another "{GoD} accused of cheating" thread. Anyway, is he llama farm material? LK, Zaccix, RedBeard, Blow*****, and anyone else that was there, PLEASE post!

I can 2nd this. That guy was spaming facts about drugs and why everyone should at least try them once. If pushing hard core drugs in a chat room aint llama farm material then I dont know what is. Many thx to Stallion for banning that llama from #planetunreal.

I also just heard about that whole Old Grendal Fiasco and what happened, i back PI on the OG issue, but that was really lame in #pu.

Yeah, from what you say PlasticIdol is a complete arsehole. Those opped should chuck him out of #planetunreal when they see him.

But shouldn't the Llamafarm restricted to people who are consistent morons WITHIN the game (and perhaps consistent forum spammers)?

The LF has a lot of credibility at present, and those in it deserve to be there. But I do wonder if it will keep that cred if people are included only for saying something we may disagree with. OK, this is an extreme case, but surely the farm should be an arm of the "UT police", not the "morality police" ? There is a very thin dividing line sometimes between subjects that are subject to universal condemnation, and those that are only a matter of opinion.

Hertston, I can see why you say this because you weren't there at the time, but it wasn't JUST trying to get us all to use drugs(and making up moronic excuses for using them). It was also the constant spamming and the continuation of the whole thing, even after I had told him repeatedly to stop making me laugh so hard(and telling him to stop spamming).

He was also saying "the drugs are[n't] bad it's the people that abuse them". First of all, he's calling himself stupid. Second of all, when I was 3 my uncle died from drugs. I don't tolerate this kind of attitude.

It wasn't so much the content as it was being a moron.

I have another worry though, which is that Llama farm inclusion may trivialise the very issues that we are talking about here.

At the end of the day, UT is only a game. The Llamafarm is a record of players who have cheated, or who play in a way that is unsporting. What I'm trying to get at is that (for example) a-nuke is a prime UT llama, but for all I know he is a leading citizen in his community, does a lot of charity work, and has a wife and 3 kids that he cares for deeply.

Drug dealers (like paedophiles and other assorted scum who should be locked away for life) exist in the REAL world. As you are sadly only too well aware, they cause real people to die. I just feel that PlasticIdol's inclusion in the farm would rank peddling hard drugs with "unsporting conduct in a computer game", which cannot be right ?

I agree with herston, altough no-one should ever force someelse to use dope, i think just because he promotes his idears on dope he can't be on the farm.

If someone must be on the farm of dope use, well i will put my name on it too. So that may not be an reason.
I do agree when he keeps spamming the IRC and forum about it, he is be noted as an forum/irc spammer, but he hasn't really done that i believe.

No, no, it wasn't the content so much as the being a moronic idiot, ie spamming even after telling to stop, etc. I wasn't quite asking him to be on the farm, I was asking if he was Llama Farm material.

Nobody could get me to take drugs, especially not a 16 year old who takes lots of drugs and talks openly about his bisexual girlfriend and his disgusting sex life.

Sorry i kinda flew off there but the guy was acting like a complete a$$ in #pu.
Heartson had kinda the same idea as i was trying to tell LK a while back, how not just anyone should be in the farm otherwise it might cheapen it.
I think maybe he should stay out of the farm, for now.

As I can't access #pu at the moment I don't know all the facts but there is something I need to ask: are you all sure this was {GoD}PI?

Is it possible that it was OG/some othyer ****? As I say, I don't know all the facts, but it would be a good idea to check. Masiling him and asking if he was there for example, as it could be someone using an alias.

I agree with Hertson, that the LF is for consistant/very bad llamas (such as a_nuke or OG), not just people who spammed a server once...

I am pretty sure, I've seen him before and he had the same style of typing(all lower case, no punctuation, misspellings), same attitude, everything.
