View Full Version : How to Enable 3rd Person View in UTComp1.6a Demos
20th Feb 2006, 11:45 AM
Hey peeps, I have my UT Comp set to automatically record a demo of each match I play, only thing is, it seems to only record in 1st person, and sometimes I would like to see things in 3rd person for learning purposes.
Anyone know if this is possible to set it up this way?
Thanks for any help, Prozac :)

press f4 ?
Unless do not quote me on this, the server has behindview turned off f4 may not work.

That won't work either.
The only thing I can think of that might possibly work is RypelCam (http://rypel.clansmiley.com/viewforum.php?f=1). Haven't tried it, though.

Yes with RypelCam you get behindview 1(right mouse button) and a spectatorcam(and of course a scripted Cam if you like).

Ask a question, get the most authoratative answer. Awesome.

By default the UTComp client-side demos don't allow behindview. They only show what occurs from your perspective. However, you can use the rypelcam to go into behindview as well as free cam mode, as if the demo were server-side.
