Unreal Engine Licensee, Lineage II's producer Adam Davidson has been interviewed by GameCloud on the topic of the game's upcoming fourth episode, Scions of Destiny.
Part of what we do to strive to keep Lineage II unique is that the Chronicles are free major content updates. We do not charge our players for additional content, so there are no plans to release a commercial expansion. Any new content down the road will come to our players the same way it has in the past, at no additional charge.

Got to love it when politicians instead of blaming their voting demographic -- blames other demographics for issues and places money and resources in the wrong areas.

Speaking of which -- Jack Thompson's lawsuit vs EA for The Sims 2 -- the porn-for-minors one -- was solely based off a clause in a copyright law.

That should show to people how little importance it is -- but aparently not. Aparently people don't think that if the only applicable law is an obscure and copyright law... then maybe its not an issue for our minors?

i was wondering...

As for Lineage II, i really like their method of every once in a while adding a huge amount of content to the game, at no additional cost (beyond the retail game and regular monthly payment). I wish other MMO developers would do that, instead of making players pay even more for expansions, or leaving them high and dry, with very little new content.
