Triggering

Sorry if this is a spam Topic...

Ok i have apsolutly no idea how you use triggers, so if someone could explain to me in a simple way as in:

Place a Trigger where you want the trigger to be activaed from
Set the Trigger as on Player Touch
Set the Event to what you want to be activated from the Trigger

Ok now i would liek to now how you make taht short movie like on unt2k3 when they are walkign around in the arena, i would liek to know how to do that aswell.
