Importing Sounds

When trying to import sounds into UED, the Sounds screen just blinks. It doesnt inport the file. Any help on this?

Usual resitrictions for imports apply: not spaces or funny characters in the sound file's or path's name are allowed.

(BTW: You also seriously lack patience for someone trying to use UnrealEd.)

patience, look at the time between the postings, about 2 hours difference. During that time I workd on my map. Trust me I have patience, especially with UED.

So did you get your sounds imported or not? Cause Wormbo forgot to mention some other restrictions that apply only to sounds. Like the file format and sound quality of your sound.

Yes, but you allowed only less than 2 hours for a response.

Indeed, but trying to import stuff like e.g. "D:\My Cool Sounds\meep.wav" is the most common mistake.

Of course, but then he would have been posting back here saying, "Why won't my D:\My_Cool_Sounds\UberGoodness.mp3 import in? There are no spaces!?!"

Might as well head him off at the pass ;)
