this is so cool. i never really knew about any of this stuff.
you guys should setup a shell account here too.
open command prompt and type
telnet sdf.lonestar.org
its awesome, theres so much cool stuff you can do
and yet i cant think of anything cool to do. anyone else have a shell account?
i dont know much about what im talking about but it seems awesome.

I've got a couple, plus I run my own server. There are a number of great things you can do.
If you've got a friend who'll set up an SSH server for yah, you can do encrypted surfing and whatnot through it. You can read my tutorial on this here: http://security.the-engine.org/documents/31/secure-surfing-e-mail-and-more-with-ssh
