Has TV Guide Online given up on collecting some demographic information? I’ve used TV Guide Online for years and I always had to give them some sort of name when I registered. I’d delete their cookies now and then and have to register again and give them another name. But now, they quit asking for names.
I always used names like Fart Knocker, and FU TVguide, etc, because it’s none of their business who I am. When I’d go to their site, I’d see a message reading something like “Welcome back, Fart.” I’m wondering if they finally got fed up with all these fake names people were giving them including the abusive names that indicated people hated TV Guide for their nosiness, and stopped asking for names.
