UnrealEd: Land of the dead - MISSING CUBEBUILDER BUTTONS HELP!!!!

I was wondering if any of you guy know what might be causing my problems...

when I load up UnrealEd the entire 'Shapes' group of buttons are missing. The stairs, the cubebuilder, all of it, is missing. Indeed, the only reason I know they are supposed to exist is that I printed out a 74 page guide on how to use it at work...

when I have a look in LOTD.txt within the Land of the Dead system folder, I find the following:
