No worries
The only time I got the flashing texture thingy was when I upgraded to v413. It disappeared when I down reved the d3ddrv.dll to 405, though I'm now running v420. I remember reading somewhere that setting the UseVideoMemoryVB to false can sometimes stop this. Whats your AGP arpeture (spelling
size set to. Mines at 256. Turn
off curved surfaces, it gives a few extra fps and is not noticable (it only applies to the player models, not the rest of the map). You should be able to set skin detail to medium without any performance hit (enough ram on card). Change the min desired framerate to 0 (this also speeds up the game for some unexplicable reason, well the timedemo anyway).
What options have you got ticked under D3D settings. All I've got ticked is
Adjust z buffer to rendering depth if unequal, else it don't run in 32bit.
I've also got the majority of my settings as per Christopher Hills GeforceFaq (at
http://www.tweak3d.net/faq ). Cache size (in ini file) is at 64mb (quarter of my total ram size).
I'll have another look when I get home (at work at the moment).
