hello im a 3ds max user and im woundering whats the best way to get a road ? i mean i need some t-crosses and stright roads and right now i model them with a simple plain

also can i use alpha chanel to make the terrain melt together with the road?

Whats the best way to fix a road realistic

The faster way to do that is to use a flat box with a terrain-like plane and apply to the box a SurfDeform modifier. The box have to have enough segments in order to be conformed to the terrain. After that you can collapse the entire layer of modifiers, to freeze the transformations
