So what's yours? I thought Zelig was great especially after taking A.P. US history, but Love and Death takes the cake. Lots of great jokes in there, and if you're into reading or have read Crime & Punishment it's even better. I love the scene when he's flirting with that woman at the play and he pulls out the sword and starts thrusting it in the air  I haven't seen Annie Hall still. I'm probably gonna get yelled at for that :hmm:

I honestly cannot remember ever seeing a Woody Allen movie. Does that make me mentally deficient?

To be honest, I've only gotten to see Annie Hall. Great movie. I've read all three books, though. Those are hilarious.

the best woody allen movies are "what's up, tiger lily?"(a japanese movie, which god dubbed by him, hilarious, but very rare) and "deconstructing Harry"
other good ones are "annie hall", his famous "everyone says I love you", "bananas" and, like you already mentioned, "love and death"

Haven't seen many TBH, but my two faves are Zelig and Tiger Lily.

The only ones I've seen are Antz (obviously only his voice, but he plays it well) and Curse of the Jade Scorpion.

Trickey cos I can't remember them all...and his career has gone in very distinct phases.
I would say my favourite TWO are Mighty Aphrodite and Manhattan though.

I haven't seen many WA films, but the sight of him and a girl being chased by a giant breast was rather hilarious. Also the scene where he was a sperm was really very funny.

Haven't seen many of his films. I barely remember 'Sleepers' and 'Bananas'. Nobody in this thread has mentioned 'Purple Rose of Cairo' (I think). I thought that was a really well told story.
Apart from that; I'm really not a fan.............

Lol... that actually sounds like something Woody Allen would say. Just throw in some squeaky stuttering, like "Eh-eh-eh-I hate Woody Allen. He's awful. A-a-a-and you know about th-the only thing worse than Woody Allen... i-is Woody Allen movies." And you know, make some convoluted hand gestures.
So you a fan then, aenemic?

No, I doubt that is the cause.

I came in a little young to pick up on his movies, and honestly, after the whole daughter marriage thing, I never could get into them.

I think I'm younger than you :p And you can't stop love... it was his adopted daughter so there's no blood relation :o You know, whatever floats your boat!
