Just wondering if anyone else found out that Google has made another move toward expanding its services and released Google Talk (http://www.google.com/talk/), which is an IM and internet telephone program... Personally, it'll take quite a great deal to pull me away from GAIM but I'm interested to see how it develops.

Thank you for notifying me. Sending messages to everyone I know and uninstalling Trillian and MSN.

There is a thread about Google Talk already: http://forums.beyondunreal.com/showthread.php?t=163268

Anyway, GAIM can connect to the Google Talk network anyway. I'm using it in both WIndows and Linux with no issues (even older versions).

I was being serious. I mean, come on! It's Google! I haven't been this excited since Gmail!

I figured someone made a thread about it already but didn't see it on the first three pages (I was gone for a week at the beach and had to get caught up :D). I wholeheartedly endorse GAIM, but Google Talk does support internet calling, and it seems to be very streamlined versus the somewhat-bloated Skype.
