REVIEW

A reskin of the Necris Kragoth model... So, what can one do to an already bad model (imho) to make it better or different? The answer may not be here it seems :(

Spinetheft tried changing the look and rather than doing another necris changed him into more of a human... Plus points for that. It's a practically black suited character with some detail here and there, but a lot less than the original so a cleaner look to him. The tcs are far better than the default skin and portions of the body (arm bands) are removed on these (not on the default). These do look better as a result. The bio's good though a little confusing as to whether he's supposed to be necris or human. In the .upl the race is necris yet in the bio text it's unknown(?). I'd assume he's human to look at him but no pupils makes it debateable. The character's portrait is nice too :) Better for characters to have four team support these days too even if the author(s) don't play it.

The Good:

Uruku has four team support which is of course a plus. Character looks better without the arm bands.

He is available as the player's character in Single Player mode which is a plus and another plus is that the bio is written into the .upl file so no need for editing xplayers info.

Two LOD's are set correctly (one face and portrait).

Finally, the ReadMe instructions re. installation are straightforward.

The Bad:

If the character's human his skin looks too white (washed out) in game. My recommendation, always check a character on DM-Antalus for a good idea how he'll look under normal lighting. Dm-1on1-Albatross under bright lighting. DM-DE-Grendelkeep for a dark map and finally CTF-BridgeOfFate/Orbital2 to check out the tcs.

The Bottom Line:

Commenting on the skin and not the model, it's nothing new. The author's only starting out so bound to get better. Awaiting the next :)

TOTAL SCORE 5/10

This skin looks quite good, but klas is absolutely right, it`s pretty too pale.
