Hi everybody,

What is the cheapes 3D-tool to create StaticMeshes?

It needs to be able to:

import dwg-files
Export ase-files (is there any other way with Runtime?)
UV-mapping

I am considering to buy a license of UnrealRuntime (Will mostly do architectural visualization) but don't really feel like spending all the thousand of bucks on 3dsMax, Maya or similar level of packages.

Does anybody have a suggestion?

Thanks a lot

There is a free version of Maya called Maya PLE that should help.

Thanks, Angel_Mapper, I know about Maya, but since I am considering the possibilities of working with Runtime commercially, I guess that the Maya PLE is out of the question.

Buying the Runtime license is expensive enought for my budget, so therefore I wanna spend as little as possible on the rest of necessary software

Thanks
