It already seems much better than UT2004. gameplay does seem more in-your-face. maybe the movement speed needs to be toned down though haha. the Manta's new plasma gun is ****ing awesome though, I love it.

perhaps it only looks "toned down", because he's playing against bots instead of humans ...

Notice the hit-effect for the new shockrifle and the way that opponents appear to be able to hide in the darkness.

i hope they add some nice cool distortion effects on arbitrary geometry to the shockcore incl few of some explosive weapons..

watch the movie you also hear the bots screeming '' I got the redeemer!''
and you also hear the old multi kill etc.... and the AVriL.

why they dont have annon text? : they have set it on screenshot mode so tyou dont see ant deadmessages and annons and bar
