Don't think it's too popular most places, but since my city is about 80% Mexican immigrants we have quite a few parties going on. Tip back a Corona Extra, and enjoy.

Talk about coincidences ... 5th may = our holiday to remember WW2 (actually it's 4th of May for the dead and 5th of May to remember/celebrate our freedom).

Yo Puedo hablar en español a poco. Cinco de Mayo es un día de las fiestas. Ustedes son pensando yo había traducido este texto, pero yo es en la clase de español tres ahora.

¡Adiós amigos, y yo veré ustedes mañana!

¡¡Buenos Noches!!

I live in the Mission District in San Francisco so I'm at groundzero for Cinco de mayo as well. This is not a good night to go any where near any bar that serves margaritas. Luckily, I have my own supply. Blended, no salt please! :D

I went to a local Mexican restaurant and bar tonight. Lots of yuppie white folks celebrating Cinco de Mayo. The only Mexican-Americans I saw were working the restaurant. That's just wrong.

Cinco de Mayo - or, as it's known in Mexico, "We Kicked the French in the Nuts Day." :)

Soy muy guapo. No me gusta la clase de Espanol; tengo aprender. No escucho a mi profesora, una mujer loca de France.

^ I am very handsome. I don't like Spanish class, but I have to learn it. I don't listen to my teacher, a f***ing wackjob straight outta hell.

Yeah, it'd be "yo soy," or just "soy." That means "I am," for the monolinguals :D

Actually, if you're talking location or other nonintrinsic qualities, you'd use estar, not ser. (kind of inexact, but you just get used to which one to use.)
