UT2k4 Lockups

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

As of the latest patch (Just downloaded it today) I have been experiencing lockups at the map loading screen during Instant action, muliplay or Singleplay. I am currently running on a AMD Athalon XP 2800+, 448 mb ram, Nvidia Geforce 4 MX and Windows XP. Any help is greatly appreciated


Edit: I have found out that UT or some other program is trying to open Microsoft Office during the loading screen causing the lock-ups if that helps.
