local vs. network sounds?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. I'm working on a vehicle and I've overridden the default idle and start up sounds that do work in the editor. What I can not figure out is how I need to modify my sounds so that PlaySound() will work with them. As of right now ClientPlaySound() will work, but I'm all out of ideas on how to fix the sounds so they work with PlaySound. I've checked my logs from both ed and unreal and neither is logging any kind of error associated with playing the sounds.
