Jeep, yes, it's a golf course called "Nags Head Golf Links". I just finished a remodel job for a charter boat Captian (59' boat, forgot what make he said it was). Come June, he's taking my crew off shore "FREE" :D He said "be ready", he'll call 24-48 hours ahead of time when the Yellowfin are hitting. I told him I want to catch a Marlin. He said he'd take me out "FREE" for the tournament this year :D :D :D
I've never cought one. I can't wait to put it on the wall. Heck, I just might mount it to the hood of the truck LOL

Is it really? Lift it about 4 feet into the air, and it would look like some of the old lifesaving stations around here.
Thought I had a pic of some, but I was wrong. "She" has some on her hard drive, but I have to swap out hard drives to access them.
So I thought I'd post this instead........
From my old house about 2-3 years ago, same area, but 10 miles north of where I'm at now.....(looks like a hang-over to me  )

what are you talking about??? My ole' lady snaped that shot either the morning after a gig, or a party...maybe both...Don't really now when or how she got it, just know it's in the pic folder.......We don 't have pic-phone, or a web cam if that's what you're asking. Just a didgi cam. Stevenhorton makes .utx files. maybe he can convert it for you....Not that I really want to see that picture of me in a UT map  But if you post one of yourself that you want to use...I'm sure he'd be more tha happy to convert it for you.

The Elephant ears seem to be off to a good start & the passion vines & pineapples are starting to look alright too. But the sago palms don't seem to like the temps yet. Oh well, got 6-7 months of HOT weather (summer avarage here is around 90-95 with 70% hummidity) around the conner....Next thing you'll know I'll be bitchin' about the water bill for keeping my sh!t wet enought to stay healthy :-P

Right on, so I guess you live close? That place went up about 15-20 years ago I guess. I did a lot of work there too (still am). Who did you build for? I build houses too, well I did till I got a job offer not to long ago for more money, and less work. I'm doing Property management now for a private land owner. She has 36 rental houses that I mantain for her.
Did/do you live here, or just do a few jobs?

I'm all the way down to whale bone now (mp 16), so my watering hole is bacco's and bushwhackers. Now and then I still goto Mulligan's. Haven't been to the pit or quag's in 2-3 years. Feel old when I go there at night now.

The other guys I've probabaly seen around if they've been here awhile. The Atlantis was great. If you got hot or too drunk, you could go out on the beach for awhile. About the only time I go to a bar anymore is when Southern Culture on The Skids is around. I really enjoy their shows.

they where just here at port-a-calls. I missed them this time around, but I heard Mary is still the same old freak she always was    I saw them last year, and Frank kicked me out....said he didn't want me stage diving in his club anymore LOL. A kdh cop saw the whole thing and said to me, you heard the man, you have to leave....I told the cop to mind his own buisness, and called him a snot nosed punk wanna-be-renta-cop    When back the next day a told Frank I was sorry for causing trouble in his bar, he laughed and said come back when ever I like.
My old band Lockjaw use to play there alot.....Oh the stories....Que tossed a couch over the balcony in there one night when we were playing :D That was the last night he was a bouncer there LOL
I remeber one night a Kelly's we were playing, and Rolo was there. His band Manday Huge just walked in the door and I had to piss sooooooo bad while we were playing....I saw Rolo, handed him my axe in the middle of the song. He covered for me for 2-3 songs while I drank a few beers....Man Lockjaw and Manday Huge stories.....Iike Rolo lighting a bottle rocket off his face with a hangover LOL The round house parties (I know you had to be at a few of those)

Maybe I'll see you there. That place is pretty cool and they have all that nice stuff in there. Whenever I'm there I'm thinking "I can't believe they let us drunks in here".

Hard tellin' man,
Like I said, it's hard getting me outa the house anymore. Especially right now. I'm busy (at least busy for me). Aside from my day job framing, I'm learning/doing CAD design at night. I also have some punch list stuff to do at my dads' place. Throw in a few hours here and there for UT and I'm done. You can call me a "quitter-fag" if you want, I don't care.
Probably your best chance of catching me is in September at the port-o-call when the skids come. Or maybe catch me on a server sometime.

Ahhh .. CAD. Those things have a huge learning curve. I used them a bunch in my engineering classes and now (I only have a year left) im starting to use a bunch of other ones where I work when im not working on computers or the network. (I work with a bunch of engineers and am currently the computer systems manager... basically I AM the IT department .. lol). Anyway... one of the programs they use is AutoCAD Electrical 2006... and let me tell you... that is one of the most advanced and highest learning curve tools I have ever seen (oddly not the highest curve). Good luck with learning CAD. Its cool once you figure it all out... but takes awhile to get there :) Those program have a heavy price tag too... I ordered AutoCAD 2006 for one of the new engineers and you would sh!t your pants if I told you what it cost :p

@Snipe
Yeah, I tried a version of Autocad ADT and even if I could afford it, I don't think I could do anything with it. The program I'm using is a bit more intuitive ,IMO, and a bit cheaper. Although, it still cost nearly 2k. But, I'm enjoying it for the most part. It gives me something productive to do in the evening.
