Lets not talk about loadouts. *glares at Taque*
That loadout is drastically lacking in ammo, especially in the explosives department, and as such is useless for suppression. Hence it doesn't have a weapon for every situation :p. What's the point in having a jack-of-all-trades loadout which excels at nothing, when you can choose a suitable loadout for the situation and be much more effective in combat?
I'm starting to like the M16A4 with M203, ladder sight, reflex sight and suppressor. That is as close to an all-round weapon as you'll get :).

I'll take the M16 or, not and, the SIG, 6 mags and kevlar and be joyful and merry in more or less every situation. I like it simple.

I have like 20 loadouts and just pick 'em based on the maps. Only thing in common on all loadouts is LvlIIIA.

i never said it was the best weapons for each situation, and this loadout was made to be challenging.it does not have many explosives because i dont miss what i shoot 40mms at, and im pretty good with grenades too.it only takes 1 to kill :) no fun in being an explosives whore.it has plenty of ammo in the rest of the departments.its all basicly small arms if you like that kind of stuff.

HK grenade launcher
5x 40mm HE grenades
10x 40mm buckshot rounds
Slow reload times and you don't rack up kills but, meh. (You also don't get tks :D)
I used to use the 40mm HEDP instead but I find the kill radius on it smaller than the standard HE nades. I also think the armor penetration isn't strong enough considering what it's boasting (something like 2 inches of steel but it can't make it through a door at times =/)
And, CFA, why 2 pistols?

HEDP is a great compromise in real life. In Infiltration, where materials aren't well defined, let alone material thickness, all they end up being is weaker version of HE— which are already weaker than hand grenades. And that's unfortuante, really, because when you get a chance to use one the way it's meant to be used, it's really pretty cool. As it stands, though, all it's good for it punching through things HE would punch through in real life (chain link fences and corrugated steel shacks on Black Water, etc).

And, CFA, why 2 pistols?
pistol is the prime weapon for distance and speed in this loadout.if you shjoot your pistol dry and you need a fresh gun quickly, just switch to your other pistol rather than reloading it.also, both pistols have their own meanings.the m9 is my favorite long distance pistol, while the socom is a good close range pistol.
mag7 is just as useless as buckshots.that and i like to keep my HK loaded with nades so if i need it i just switch to it and FIRE!
me and NT tested the HEDP awhile ago. the results were that the HEDP are just as strong as the HE.while you have trouble going thru doors, it goes thru concrete very well! such maps like MWH ,frozen, MDM, etc all have uses for this type of nade.when it explodes and penetrates, it splits away like a shotgun.so unless your target is standing right by the thing you are trying to hit, the chances of actually hitting it varies greatly on how far the target is away from the wall

Why wouldnt I just take an M16a2 and an M16a4?
I dont believe in multi-weapon loadouts. It's not terribly realistic, and I've discovered some really unorthadox ways of winning with purpose-built weapons in non-purpose situations.

i would carry that many weapons if i could(if i had) :) its not too much if you think about it.besides, this is only for fun and is great training.i believe the longer you go using small arms, when you use a "real gun" your gonna be so greasy fast with a gun that noone is gonna have a clue what hit them.its not about firepower, its about strategy and speed.it does take some will power to keep yourself using pistols and such when you start getting raped while using them

Who's sig is it that accurately depicts an expert's loadout?

Do you mean more than 2 guns, harrm? A primary and secondary do me fine.

I'd like to point out that there is no reason to EVER not take 1 M67, 1 FB, and 1 M83 at least.
The first one of these you take doesn't really add to your bulk even though it says so during loadout creation.

What is the highest bulk without having a backpack?
If you have the highest amount of bulk woithout a backpack, not including a m67, would your player be given a backpack if you pack one m67?
Last question: Does having a backpack on make you a bigger target? Hit detection wise (Vanilla inf v.s. Real Targets)?

a) 47
b) Yes.
c) Dunnow. But I do not think so, cause the vanilla hit detection is...not so well. There are just 2 or 3 collision hulls, often reffered to as coke can collision hull. This is due to the fact these were adopted from UT, and to have a fair UT with all the different player models, all have the same (big) collision hull.
RT might be another story, but I still do not think so, simply cause a hit in the backpack does not kill you (in real life, as long as it hits the backpack only), so would be unrealistic...
The only disadvantage of a backpack might be that you can be seen easier.

I've had alot of fun with the following loadout against bots in a 10 minute DM in Norwhich today:
Benelli M1S90
2 boxes of ammo
Mini Uzi
6x ammo
and some random handgrenades as well as level 3 armor and a helmet.
