Just curious, how much internet download quota is used from playing INF?

Quickly checking stats I'd say about 7-8 MBytes upload an hour. Probably about the same down (more if you're downloading map content and such.) That works out to about 2kb/s each way, not alot but I guess it could tax a 56k line... Otherwise if you're worried about monthly usage limits or the ilk, INF if left on all month would eat up about 11.5GB of bandwidth.

Yeah, INF takes almost no bandwidth at all. (well from my POV anyway).

I have DSL and I cant run any internet programs without taking a sizable hit in my connection. Even Teamspeak results in a noticable increase in packetloss.

yeah. Cable is better... DSL gets a performance hit pretty fast (at least with the kind of connection we have over here).

I have adsl and i'm very happy with it. Where i live, adsl is better than cable, at least pingwise. Pings go up and down more with cable than adsl.

well, as i said, it depends a lot on your local infrastructures

Even though INF only takes about 2-8kB/s, ADSL takes a major hit if you're downloading files at the same time. SDSL would be unaffected.
