Im looking to get into airsoft but I have a couple of questions. I would kind of like a gun that can change power. I dont know if this is possible, but I think it would be cool to be able to turn it up for target practice and down for hitting your friends, lol. I would also like to know how accurate a airsoft gun is and how much it is affected by wind. Im sure it depends on the power of the gun. Thanks in advance :)

Off the top of my head, there's no easy way to adjust a bb gun's power. The only real reliable way to adjust power is to muck with internals; springs and pistons, mostly. But I wouldn't worry. If you manage to injure someone wearing goggles, your gun is way overpowered.

Airsoft guns are generally accurate enough, but pellets can be affected by wind. It shouldn't matter much with heavier pellets, but as a sniper, range issues can be painful.

Hope that helped, I'd start with a 20-30 buck spring pistol, and see if the idea of having a larger, generally more powerful version sounds good.

Yeah it seems I cant find a gun with decent range.

Oh yeah, should've mentioned. All guns by default are weak.

To get decent performance, you will have to upgrade the internals.

Is it possible to get good range and accuracy without having enough power to kill someone, lol.
