Some info please!

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. Can absolut or dante or any of the team give us a brief descritpion of what the classes will be able to do? Is it like DA:UT and what about mguns, will we be able to build them?

the classes are cool, and they are fun and they do different things. Is that breif enough for you? ;)

Edit: I'm not sure if we're releasing class abilities yet, but yes, all the classes are different and each have their own unique abilities/stats/etc

Well, and the Dev team didn't want me to tell you this, but I begged and pleaded. Here is some class info on a new class they are implimenting into the game.

Monkey Class:

Loadout: Fur, Mouth, Poo Grenades, Stinky Finger
Attributes: Can climb walls; Can use lightsabers; Fling Poo
Status: 76.129487858% Coded.

Looking good, only one issue i see.

Would it be possible to make the explosions more dirt/demris based, I have noticed that the realistic looking grenade explosions are replacing the classic fire based grenade explosions from older games.

Yeah, I would like to add more dust and debris - its just a question of performance and will need some testing. Right now the effects are very performance-friendly, so it can just get better ^^

Orientated at realistic effects the fire-based core of the explosion is only visible for a split-second and it 'feels' pretty realistic, yet.

Those ...... damit wots the word..... muzzle flashs (i think)! Those muzzle flashes look wicked compared to the ones there were before

I was just playing the pariah demo and was thinking "how cool would upgrades be in DA?" By killing attackers you could get points which you can spend on better equipment.

DA seems to lean towards the more realistic side of gaming, in my opinion earning points is similar to cash systems.
