Another Robot in the works

Been working on this since yesterday.

I must say it's looking kindda weird :rolleyes:

I think I first must see it skinned before I can see what theory is behind those round legs/arms. Those are the parts really confusing me.

Other It looks cool so far. I like the shapes in general. ;)

I´ll be doing a "armcannon"...if it works the way i´m planning it, the 3rd person weapon won´t be visible and it´ll look like he´s shooting out of his arm. :)

I´m not really sure if i´ll keep that arm.

That's all well and good.. but part of some people's playing style and movement is based on what weapon they see the other guy holding. I can already see this not going on a lot of servers or even being downloaded at all for that matter due to that one little quirk. :(

The model itself is pretty much done.
But i guess it won´t be finished until i can find someone who can unwrap it for me.
Tried it several times but it always ended up in the trashcan cause i suck at uv-mapping. :/

He really needs some tweaking, now that i look at the concept again...but there´s no point in it since he won´t be finished.

Maybe you could start a new thread in the request forum to ask for a good UV skinner to finish it with the original concept as much as possible. I don't think it's something to avoid since the model is pretty well started at the moment

but this model looked kick-ass. if you truly don't want to finish it, then you should pass it on to another. but your other model/skin look awesome. it would be cool to see what you can do with this.

I think the unused robot concept is an old concept for Raptor, actually.

Edit: Apperently Raptor from UC2 is of female personality. A suicide message said something like 'Raptor degenerated herself'. Interesting...it/she dosen't look very femiene (like the female cybernetics).

Still a kickass robot though...
