I saw this flow chart in another forum awhile back. i've known some individuals here, that are pretty far down. if it's something like cosplay and you have pictures let's see them.

I dispute that flow chart's merit; REAL anime fans NEVER use the term Japanimation. If someone uses the term "japanimation," they are not geeks; they're idiots.

Solid 4th tier reporting, having 5th tier tendencies. None of that "fanfic" crap though; I don't do that.

The buck stops at "Video Games" for me.

edit: Of course, it's been there for the better part of 17 years. ;)

Playing INF is the geekiest thing I do. Oh, and I used to play Warhammer 40k, so I guess that makes me a former-geek. But then I discovered hockey, so now I'm a jock I guess. But I drink and party constantly, so that also makes me a fratboy.

I feel so lost in this world.

The geekiest thing I do is going to an internet forum and endlessly discussing the minute details of a video game.

Even my sport that should put me firmly in jockdom is geeky. In javelin throwing we discuss things like carbon graphite flex rebound, and use big words like aerodynamics and body kinematics.

Oh, and airsoft seems geeky sometimes but it isn't on the list so I guess it's safe. *whew

OK, I fall into:
Sci-fi/fantasy literature fan
Sci-fi TV fan
Ametur sci-fi/fantasy author
Video gamer -> roleplaying gamer
I was a 13y.o. gamer... in fact I was a 5y.o. gamer ;)
almost 'People who majored in folklore/mythology' - more of a hobby for me
almost 'people who buy expensive replicas of fictional fantasy swords' - it was cheap, and a dagger, and I decided against buying it at the last minute :D
