Installing UT2004 Modules

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I would say we need a sticky called 'UT4MOD Problems', but nobody reads stickies anyway.

Try just double clicking on the file.
If nothing happens, the solution is to reinstall the latest patch (3355).
If windows prompts you for what program to use with the file, cancel and use UT2Kx Regcheck to fix your file associations.

If you are using an operating system other than Windows the process is more complicated.

If you downloaded the non-ut4mod version, just extract all the files into your UT2004 directory.
