Maybe you can post a pic of the bug? And also tell us the specs of your machine?

I used to have this bug, what I did was I deleted a few models and the problem went away for me. Still you should say what your specs are on your PC.

Never came across it so I'll wait for more info before speculating, also what particular models have been causing the problem? Do you get this playing bigger maps too (in Instant Action) ?

He gets this in Single Player's story mode. It happened to me alot with Little Eris models. Once he gets to the screen where you buy team mates he'll lock up.

Thanks to all that replied. After a little more time contemplating my problem, i too came to the conclusion that it was some of the models. What i did to fix it was to edit the models that gave me problems and made them unplayable in single player mode. For anyone who wants to do this, all you need to do is open the model's .upl file (Located under ur system folder) with notepad, be sure to uncheck the always use this program to open these files, and then find where it says Menu="SP" and simply delete the SP.
Oh and for those wondering, im running a pentium 4 2.4ghz with 512mb ram along with a Nvidia G Force 3 Ti 200 with 32 mb ram

Just a note that if you edit the .upl files and later want to use them online (or maybe even connect to servers online) you could get server mismatch errors as a result because the package will be different to the original ;)
