UTGOTY:

Here’s the issue. I am using the Alien Queen model.
It works for me in Single player & if I host my own LAN between me & boots.

I run a dedicated server also & put the model on the server
aqueenSkins.int & aqueen.int are place in the systems folder
while aqueenSkins.utx is in the textures folder On booth MY PC & the Dedicated server). But with that said for some reason I can use the skin in my dedicated server it wont let me play the skin. I keeps switching me to a default player & the really strange part is I have a boot in the server using the Alien Queen and that works ?!

The model comes with a manifest,ini file with the below in it.
Does all that need to be some where on the server also
[Setup]
Group=Alien Queen

[Alien Queen]
File=Textures\aqueenSkins.utx
File=System\aqueen.u
File=System\aqueen.int
File=System\aqueenSkins.int
File=readme.txt
File=Alcor.bmp
Caption=Alien Queen
Version=100

[RefCounts]
File:Textures\aqueenSkins.utx=1
File:System\aqueen.u=1
File:System\aqueen.int=1
File:System\aqueenSkins.int=1
File:readme.txt=1
File:Alcor.bmp=1

I tired to e-mail the creator but no reply, so any help would be appreciated.

Have you added the serverpackages to your UnreaTournament.ini ?

Like this :
ServerPackages=RiotSkins
ServerPackages=RiotGirl

What file do you downloaded ? Was it an .umod ? It looks like a .umod , because normally the manifest.ini is doing the part in the UnrealTournament.ini , when I remember correctly.

EDIT : I checked the Alienqueen-model on my harddisk.It´s an .umod.
Normally it should install with doubleclick and everything is fine.

I really have no idea once it's installed on both machines. The manifest.ini file only contains data as to what files go where when installing/uninstalling so it's not that.

Pity I uninstalled UT some time ago so I can't even look at it for ya :( SaD's idea for ServerPackages shouldn't really matter once it's on both machines already but certainly try that anyway. Other than that, double check that all files are present and in the correct folders on both machines.

Maybe disable any mutators you might have loaded too... Let us know how you get on, P 'N S :)

The following lines are in my unrealtournament.ini under the
[Engine.GameEngine]line
ServerPackages=aqueen
ServerPackages=aqueenSkins

Yes the file is a .UMOD, but my server is remote server, so the only way I know to load the file is ti run the .UMOD to a new folder, then ftp the files to the correct place on the server ftp (can .umod directly via ftp to the remote server).

I do have the info that came with it’s manifest, pasted in the server manifest. Not sure what I’m missing here

The lines in the manifest.ini isn't important for running the skin only for automatic uninstall so it doen't matter if those lines are there or not.

So if you use UMOD Extractor and copy paste the files or automatic install it(by using the main purpose of the UMOD files) shouldn't matter as long as you place the files right.
.u, .int \System
.utx \Textures

Do you use some kind of anti-cheat mutator or something!? Could be it messes with 3rd part skins 'n models.
For what I know what you've done so far should work.
